Orange is giving away an Eee PC for nowt if you sign up for its £25 per month mobile broadband deal. In return you’ll get an 8.9in Asus little lappy and a dongle to plug in to get you online.
You’ll need to sign up for 24 months and there’s also a £3.99 delivery fee. Once everything arrives, you’ll be able to surf away wherever you are at speeds up to 1.8Mbps. Don’t get too carried away, though, as you’re limited to 3GB of data a month – anything over that will cost you 1.46p per MB, which works out at a hefty £15 per GB.
Orange is offering the Eee PC 900 with Windows XP pre-loaded and 1GB of RAM. Storage runs to 16GB – most likely SSD, although the specs don’t say. It comes packing an 8.9in screen and weighs just under 1KG.
