Eccentric robot maker Crabfu has produced a visually appealing machine that could act as more of a handicap were it allowed on the green as its aim is a little off, but its very entertaining to watch, and it is Friday!
Some may argue that its status as a robot is questionable as the Putter Bot is remote controlled, so what if its chassis was lifted from a Tamiya RC car this thing has servos, a flashing “eye” and moves about on tracks so its robot enough for us.
We thought the future of golf had arrived in the shape of the stalking golf trolley but now have a vision of a small army of these robotic machines, each armed with different clubs and taking your shots for you, improving your handicap as you tuck in at the 19th.
