LEGO Temple is a jaw-dropper

Taj LEGOIts the biggest boxset yet from the Danes and we are certain that this one opens up the floodgates for future releases of mega-builds.

A finger blistering 5,900 piece await the recipient of this structure and whilst it’ll take a long weekend or longer to put it together thats nothing compared to the original temples 22 year completion time.

We were, until now, mighty impressed by the Death Star offering of late but this one makes it look almost lame.

Once completed the Taj Mahal (minor) complete with its excellent detail of domes, minarets, finials, arches and stairs obviously needs some serious space for its 50 cm girth and 40 cm height to sit.

We are well aware that the penchant for large organisations is to have art installations in the foyer, but may we suggest that LEGO builds like this one, perhaps with a few pieces lying beside it for visitors to “top-off” would make rather marvellous and much more interesting replacements for overpriced abstracts.

Due September |  £199.99
