Forget everything you thought you knew about washing machines. The perfectly round Sfera is a little bathroom bound device that spins your undies clean on its own wall-mounted plumbing, while its wastewater flushes the loo.
It’s another brilliant concept design from the Scandinavian appliance manufacturer, Electrolux, just like the brand’s ingenious micro cookers, and a strong contender for Electrolux Design Lab 2008. Sfera is small enough to be wall mounted and perfect for small loads. The same pipe that the round drum revolves around supplies its water and drains it back into the wastewater system to flush the toilet afterwards. The revolutionary concept not only saves space in the modern micro home, but water as well.
