So, after getting aaaaall excited that Dell was going to take the wraps of its itty bitty Mini Inspiron at a press event yesterday the news is in: the Dell E is something else.
Dell did announce 10 new laptops, but none of them where the much anticipated little red number. That’s not to say what it announced wasn’t exciting though.
All the new laptops come under the Dell E name and one was a 12.1in model weighing less than 1Kg and with solid state memory, which possibly went under the name Dell E Slim. Dell is also promising a massive 19 hours maximum battery life from some models - nine hours from the internal cell, combined with what it’s terming a “battery slice” that will add on an extra ten.
