We’re getting a little tired of this. Sony’s much maligned PlayTV tuner for the PlayStation 3 just got delayed. Again.
Instead of launching on September 10th, Sony Europe has told Eurogamer that it’ll now land on shelves on September 19th. OK, it’s only a little delay, but we’ve been waiting so long, we’re beginning to doubt it’ll ever turn up!
There is some good news though. It’ll cost less than the original cost of £78, now edging in at £70. It’s also been confirmed that the Freeview tuners inside will be HD ready, able to suck up high definition shows as soon as they’re enabled.
Out September 19 | £70 | Sony (via Engadget)
