Robotwars Medieval Style

As the world predicts a future where robots use the latest technology to defend countries and keep us safe lets take a moment to consider a world with no advanced weaponry, just robotic technology and some standard issue attack equipment.

A bizarre and of course unlikely scenario so thank the YouTube for delivering this mechanised diaplay of two robotic arms going head-to-head armed with Ye Olde Axe, Scythe and a Mace.

There are occassional human interventions via a console in the background, mainly to halt proceedings before a) the robots realise they’re having the time of their lives belting seven shades out of each other and b) to switch weapons.

Some may see this as little more than a show of skills and the weaponry has little to do with the display of deftness by the arms.

Others, a future where the anticipated tasar wielding, high ballistic weapon firing and flamethrower toting robots could well show up in force with something far more sinister.
