Still looking for an excuse to slap down the cash for an Xbox 360? Microsoft’s got just the thing: the Xbox 360 comes equipped with a 60GB hard drive from Friday.
The Big M announced the availability today, tripling the Xbox’s 20GB drive while keeping the same £200 price tag.
The new model will be available from 15 August. That’s this Friday, for those without a calendar to hand, and replaces all existing 20GB models.
Of course, there’s still the option of the Xbox Arcade, which lacks a hard drive, but packs a 256MB memory unit to store downloaded games and gamer profiles. It’s cheaper at £160, but won’t let you store downloaded films or music.
For those with more money to splash, there’s the top of the range Xbox Elite. It comes clad in a black shell, and packing a mammoth 120GB hard drive. Of course, there’s a price to pay, and it’s £260.
