Sony released the PSP Slim & Lite late last year, and already there are whispers of a PSP 3000 over the gaming hills, but for one modder, the next-gen PSP is already here: he’s created one with a touchscreen, as these videos show.
The finger enthusiast has cleverly shoehorned touchscreen tech into the PSP, and as you can see, its onscreen keyboard demonstration works wonders.
Of course we want to do more than use our PSP as a keyboard. The second video below shows just how touchy tech could work with games with no finger lag.
The modder, dubbed jube808, now plans to bring touchscreen to homebrew gaming. The only catch is that you’ll have to create the kit to play it yourself. Check out the videos below.
