Each one of these mini hot plates has its own heating coil, so you can daisy-chain them together on the table and grill, boil or fry the food right in front of your dinner guests.
Like the Apple-inspired Miele touch-slide kitchen worktop, it’s another ground-breaking concept design. This time it’s for Electrolux by Chris Fox and it brings the Tappan Yaki experience, where the food is prepared right in front of, to your own dining table. Each hot plat is designed to either grill, boil or fry the food independently, but all are powered by a single electrical cable, so as long as each ceramic plate is touching the next one, the current will be passed on. It also comes in a rather smart storage rack. Whether Electrolux puts this into production remains to be seen…
