The BlackBerry Thunder (or BlackBerry 9000, or BlackBerry Storm, if you prefer) isn’t even official yet, but a guide to using its next-gen functions has already popped up online.
It’s a BlackBerry Thunder for Dummies book, written by Robert Kao, who has churned out similar guides for other RIM phones in the past.
Leaked through the website of American bookseller Barnes & Noble, it’s set for a release date of October 27, which supports previous rumours the phone would be on sale before Christmas.
Listing its chapters, Barnes & Noble claim it’ll feature guides on “learning to use the new touch-screen,” “getting online and surfing the web,” “setting up RSS feeds,” and “taking full advantage of the multimedia features.”
The phone is referred to throughout the book’s pre-order page as the “BlackBerry X,” and there’s a pretty generic photo on the fake cover too. Is it a hoax? Give us a shout in the comments section below.
