As if pulling Grand Theft Auto IV from Thai shelves wasn’t overreacting, the Thai Ministry of Health has drawn up a shortlist of the ten most dangerous games.
Earlier a teen was arrested after murdering a taxi driver. He “wanted to find out if it was as easy in real life to rob a taxi as it was in the game,” said a chief police investigator.
Now a list of top ten dangerous games has been drawn up, which according to Cnet Asia is related to the crime.
We think it’s a bit of an overreaction. If GTA IV was pulled, chances are more could follow. Surely games aren’t the sole cause of these kinds of crimes, even if the teen in question suggested it.
Check out the ten games in question according to the Thai Ministry of Health below and let us know if they deserve a banning:
- GTA
- Man Hunt
- Scarface
- 50 Cent - Bullet Proof
- 300
- The Godfather
- Killer 7
- Resident Evil 4
- God of War
- Hitman
