Not content with naming their newest mobile the T700, Sony’s just announced a camera with the same name, as well as one dubbed the T77. Confused? Don’t worry, we’ll explain it all.
See, the Cyber-shot T700 is a little bit special. Instead of relying on cumbersome memory cards, it packs in 4GB of internal storage. Around the back there’s a 3.5 inch screen, while its Carl Zeiss lens comes with 4x optical zoom and image stabilisation. Inside, there’s also a beefy 10 megapixel sensor, and an ISO up to 3200, for light-filled shots, even in dim conditions.
On the software side, there’s a neat anti-blink feature that takes two pictures in quick succession, as well as face detection.
The T77 is less advanced, but still squeezes in 10 megapixels, the same 3200 ISO, 11 scene modes and face detection. The T77 also has a touchscreen interface.
