BT Home Hub unboxed!As you’ll soon gather from the blanket advertising planned by BT, the Hub and Hub Phone are being replaced by the monolithic Hub 2.

It’s a sleek black version of the all-white broadband router, with much faster N-standard Wi-Fi, as well as some tasty new connectivity. We were first in line for a full installation, and took pictures along the way. Come and take a peek!

    Just “Upgraded?” to hub 2 a few weeks ago and wireless signal nas been less than useful.
    I located the new hub in the exact same physical location as the old white hub 1.5
    With hub 2.0, the signal would drop out every 5 minutes.
    Signal strength was at best very low whereas with old hub, it was good.
    So much for BT’s new “N” series. Just shows what good advertising money will do.
    Save your money and steer well clear.
    BT couldn’t or wouldn’t recommend a solution except use your old router hence this warning to any prospective mugs (sorry Clients).
