There’s something fresh from all the major tech brands already today. First up, Apple’s under scrutiny from analysts, who reckon recent claims we’ll see an iPhone nano on sale before Christmas are wide of the mark.
According to the latest checks, Apple is indeed prepping a cut down iPhone, but it’s more likely to land in 2009.
Elsewhere, the Wii has found an unsurprising home in Gyms across New York. It’s being used by fitness trainers to tone up flabby customers, although we think charging $110 for a quick game of Wii Sports is a bit steep!
Lastly, innovative hackers have been fighting to install Windows Vista on the PlayStation 3, seeking to turn the slick console into an all-powerful living room PC. Their success so far has been limited, as the Big M’s OS is more unwieldy than the PS3’s default software, but it points the way to a flood of new hacks coming to the console.
