The sculptor Michael Rea is the creator of this mighty automaton and named the eight footer “A prosthetic suit for Stephen Hawking with Japanese steel” - A slight, or a salute to the world famous physicist?
According to the chisler-in-chief, a big fan of Hawkins and his guest appearances on The Simpons and Futurama, he decided this was the perfect homage to the scientists achievements.
The sizeable fist and gruesome gripper would certainly manage some damage against any of the cast on the Transformers set but likely switch only from this current format into a messy pile of firewood.
Some of the other sculptures on offer from Rea include a space capsule, some religious artifacts, a tank and oversized computer console.
