Spykee, the home security robot we first spied back in January, is finally oiling up his gears for a UK launch: according to Stuff.tv the sharp-eyed little fella will be available in September for £200.
Designed by Meccano, Spykee can detect intruders via a camera or microphone, plus play MP3 tunes, snap photos and work as a VoIP phone. He’s also packing Wi-Fi, which lets you control him over the Internet from anywhere in the world - so while you’re sunning yourself on holiday you can have him keep an eye on things at home. He’ll sound an alarm or shoot over an email if he detects an intruder. We can’t wait to give him a test run.
