It’s designed for hobbyists and DIY-ers, but you can use the Dremel Versaflame solder gun cum flame-thrower for anything from building a model plane to glazing a crème Brûlée.
In fact, it’s the only stationary burner that safely combines an open flame with a catalyst and soldering head making it suitable for delicate soldering jobs on a circuit board to fusing two pieces of copper pipe together. It’s powered by liquid butane gas for quick heat-up and fast re-charge. The kit comes with the handheld VersaFlame tool plus four accessories - a catalyst, soldering tip, flame extension piece and deflector - the whole package comes in a tin can which also contains solder, soldering tin, a sponge box and 7mm wrench. Just please be careful when your lighting your cigar with it!
