The first closed beta tests of PlayStation Home have launched in Japan, with a handful of lucky gamers finally let loose on Sony’s social networking-come-matchmaking-come-multiplayer service!
The closed beta test comes ahead of a proper launch in August. At the moment, it’s only being tested in the Far East, although other regions will get a chance to play with it before the official unveiling too.
Strangely, it also seems that PlayStation Home will have an age limit, with gamers younger than 18 barred from using it.
We’ll let you know more as soon as we hear it.
