Facebook games are dropping like flies, after one was canned for including knife references, Hasbro’s much publicized lawsuit against the Scrabulous Facebook game has just ended in its makers dropping the wordy application.
Thankfully for us UK citizens, the ban only applies to the US and Canada, whose users are met with the following message.
“Scrabulous is disabled for US and Canadian users until further notice. If you would like to stay informed about developments in this matter, please click here.”
Upon clicking “here” irate (ex) Scrabulous users can subscribe to receive updates on any developments from the makers.
The lawsuit came about after Hasbro launched its own competing version of Scrabble on Facebook, and are now claiming a patent infringement by Scrabulous.
