Nintendo DS giving Grand Theft Auto Wi-Fi multiplayer?

We’re still revving up for the impending arrival of GTA on the DS, but there are still plenty of surprises in store, like the latest speculation it’ll get a criminal dose of Wi-Fi multiplayer action.

Rockstar, masters in the art of teasing gamers, has just launched the official GTA: Chinatown Wars website, which admittedly doesn’t tell us much, except for including the Nintendo Wi-Fi badge at the bottom.

If this means what we think, it looks like the DS could be the scene of some much-needed online carnage, GTA style. We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed on this one.
