Reports are flooding in that Apple has issued warnings to resellers over availability for many of its most in-demand products. Word is they’ll be in short supply in the coming weeks, as Apple clears stock to make way for new models.
According to Macworld, a memo from the Mac-maker states that it’s reducing production of iPods, 13-inch MacBooks and both 15 and 17 inch MacBook Pros.
That chimes with rumours of a new iPod nano in the works, as well as new MacBooks sporting glass trackpads and all-aluminium shells.
According to Macworld, Apple has “strongly suggested” resellers should stock up on enough iPods to last a month.
New nanos in September then? You betcha!
