meh. £30-£40 a year is practically nothing for what Xbox Live offers compared to PSN (which is ****)
if they do make it free, it will be another nail in the coffin for the PS3 though, if they dont, i’m still willing to pay for the sevice

just so you know he got it wrong. This was actually a bug as they recently made it so that the games for windows games were free however games which allowed pc to xbox play became free as well. They released a statement saying it was a promotion and this will only last until the new dashboard is released in autumn. if you want proof go here

I’m sure many people like me who have recently coughed up £30/40 for another years subscription will love to hear this.
