Lunchtime lowdownIt’s lunchtime, so grab a sandwich and settle down for a recap of everything gadget-shaped you’ve missed this morning.

There are lot of wicked whispers this lunchtime. First we’ve heard a rumour that the iPhone 3G will be released from its exclusive contract with O2 towards the end of the year, with Orange lining up to sell it in the UK from October.

It’s not too much of a stretch to see it happening, after all, the company already sells the phone overseas.

Elsewhere we’ve caught a glimpse of what could be the brand new Sony PSP. Redesigned, slimmer, and with a PS3-style PS button, it looks sexy, but is it the real deal?

We’ve also heard about Creative’s new MP3 player, dubbed the Mozaic, which packs in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB memory. There’s also a 16GB version planned later in the year, but the real kicker is its 32 hour battery life.
