A very modern twist on the traditional cooking pot means you can cook your carbs in a self-contained and portable cooker anytime and anywhere the munchies strike.
The prototype design by Mathew Lau – better known for his Bluetooth headsets – was inspired by the shape of wheat and intended to simplify the cooking of basic carbohydrate dishes like rice, pasta and noodles. The sealed cooking pot is about the size of a large kettle and contains a microprocessor that controls the heat to cook each dish to perfection, while its built in memory can remind chefs of everything they have previously cooked in it. It’s fully portable, which makes it ideal for caravans or sneaking under your desk at work.
