Top notch photographers wouldn’t dream of using anything but an SLR, unless they’ve seen Panasonic’s new compact. It’s a pocket-sized picture box with all the features you’d expect from a full-blown SLR.
As well as the jaw-dropping 10.1 megapixel sensor, the DMC-LX3 packs a maximum ISO of 3200, full manual control and an F2.0 24mm Leica DC Vario-Summicron lens.
Sure, there’s no way to swap the lenses, but that’s the only down side. Even the flash is detachable, so you have more control over the lighting you use.
