Lomme stands for Light Over Matter Mind Evolution and it uses the latest tech to revitalize you with light and sound therapy while you sleep. Waking up in the Lomme egg feels like being reborn.
The egg-shaped retreat is the brainchild of by Günther Thöny of Thony Projekt and the result of two years study into the science of sleep. The form factor of the bed provides a natural shelter from noise and general distraction and is clearly meant to represent rebirth.
Built into the fabric of the egg are many LED lights that simulate sunset and sunrise to help you sleep and rise again and provide colour therapy to rejuvenate during the night. There’s also a cutting edge sound system built around an iPod dock to bath you in sweet music and treat you with sound therapy. Apparently Rage Against the Machine is not recommended listening.
