BlackBerry hasn’t made anything official yet, but word is out that Verizon’s preparing a rival to AT&T and Apple’s Visual Voicemail for the iPhone, pushing it out on a range of devices, including the BlackBerry Thunder.
The network’s reportedly planning a launch for its Visual Voicemail competitor later this year, letting owners of certain LG and Motorola phones tap into messages on-demand, as well as skip forwards and backwards through them.
According to IntoMobile, the service will also work on BlackBerry’s new touchscreen Thunder.
Of course, it’s all unofficial until BlackBerry launches the Thunder. Keep it here for more as we hear it.
