Solid Snake’s final adventure has seen PS3 sales skyrocket in the USA.Sometimes all it takes to change a console’s fortunes for the better is a hot exclusive title – and that’s just what has happened with Metal Gear Solid 4. The recent release of the stealth-laden sneak ‘em up has given PlayStation 3 sales a major shot in the arm Stateside, with shoppers bagging 405,000 Sony consoles in June, as opposed to 208,700 in May. That’s a boost of 94 percent – and MGS4 was also the best-selling game in the US that month.
