It’s been a week since the iPhone 3G rolled into gadget-town, but it seems some people aren’t particularly impressed by Apple’s app-friendly 2.0 firmware – the web seems full of complaints about sluggish performance and even outright crashes.
The moans seem fairly anecdotal in nature, and most are fairly minor – we can personally attest that the iPhone 3G can get a touch laggy when you’re typing on the screen, or a wee bit choppy when scrolling through contacts – but over at Engadget there are some more serious bellyaches about users being unable to answer calls or experiencing crashes when receiving one.
Head over there and check out the user comments to see the extent of the issues, and if you’ve experienced anything untoward yourself let us know in the comment box below. In the meantime, it’s still early days for the iPhone 3G and 2.0 firmware, so we’d expect Apple to be currently beavering away on updates to fix any major and minor issues – keep an eye out for them, iPhone users!
