Taking miniaturisation to the extreme, the TX54 is a concept design for Timex, that squishes a digital watch into a piece of clear plastic that fits over your thumb nail like something out of Minority Report.
The idea comes from a collaboration with designers at Core77 to celebrate the famous watch brand’s 150th birthday. The disposable timepiece is translucent and super thin to blend seamlessly with the surface of your thumbnail. It might make you look like a cyborg, but we see that as a good thing and with any luck, Timex will put this project into production before long.
