We had a feeling Nintendo was going to out some new peripheral, but not this. It’s an attachment for the Wiimote giving it more accuracy and better tracking abilities.
It’s called Wii MotionPlus, and according to Ninty it will accurately reflect motions in a 3-D space. No, we’re not sure what that means either.
Confused? We’ll let Nintendo’s explanation clear it up:
“The Wii MotionPlus accessory attaches to the end of the Wii Remote and, combined with the accelerometer and the sensor bar, allows for more comprehensive tracking of a player’s arm position and orientation, providing players with an unmatched level of precision and immersion.
Still no idea? Don’t worry, Nintendo’s due to announce more details at E3 today; hopefully we’ll get to see it in action. We can’t wait.
