Sat at work and fancy having a movie downloaded, or a new game waiting when you get home? Microsoft’s new remote download feature will let you do just that.
Talking to the guys at the Major Nelson blog, Xbox Live boss Marc Whitten says Xbox Live Marketplace content will soon be available to browse on a PC.
You’ll simply tap into the Xbox website, mooch through the catalogue, then choose which content you want your console to download. It’ll kick into life back home, and start the download as soon as you choose it. Perfect if you’re sat at work and fancy ordering a film to be ready when you get home.
It’ll work with game demos too, and should also cope with Xbox Arcade game purchases, just don’t let the boss see you ordering games instead of slaving over a spreadsheet.
