It’s good news for the 70% of the population who take their coffee with milk. Philips’ new Senseo Latte Select coffee maker will be the first to incorporate a milk compartment adding plenty of fresh froth to your cappuccino.
The Senseo coffee system uses individual pods made by Douwe Egberts that simply pop into the top of the smooth plastic coffee maker. The new milk compartment slides neatly into the body of the machine dispensing a predetermined amount of frothed milk into the cup after the pod has been activated. The individually sealed pods ensure you get a fresh coffee hit each time, but the real advantage here is convenience. There’s very little cleaning up to do and your coffee is ready in a matter of seconds. That’s faster than the speediest caffeine fuelled Italian barrista.
