It looks more like something Bugs Bunny might use to get around, but the Rabbit Bike concept uses green energy and an aerodynamic design that would leave Elma Fudd standing.
The design by Filipe Tolomei uses lightweight plastic materials and a streamlined shape – a bit like a rabbit – to maximize the bike’s efficiency and two small electric motors to power it. The heavy battery is located at the central ball of the bike to keep the centre of gravity low and improve stability. It’s still just an early prototype sadly, so we’ll have to wait before these cartoon-style contraptions hit the streets.
