Dell E laptopDell caused quite a stir when it first announced its teeny weeny Dell E pint sized portable way back in May, but it’s all gone a bit quite since then. The latest news to trickle out, however, is that it’ll hit the market at a wallet friendly $299.

According to Digitimes, the machine will go on sale in August and will be put together by Compal in Taiwan. Dell’s still keeping mum on the exact specs, though, so we still don’t know what’s going to be inside.

There’s no word on UK pricing yet, though with current exchange rates it would work out at just under £150, which would be extremely cheap. Here’s hoping Dell doesn’t just swap the dollar for a pound sign instead.

Out August | $299
