Xbox 360 motion control rumours just won’t go away. Motus, the company said to be developing a Wii-like controller for the console has now posted some videos showing how it’ll work with existing games.
It’s been called Darwin, and unlike the Wiimote and Nunchuk, the controls are completely wireless, letting gamers flail about without getting into a tangle.
Rather than separate peripherals attached by a wire, it can be split in two depending on the game, or if another player wants to join in, as shown in the Lego Star Wars demonstration below.
Motus claim it’s more advanced than the Wiimote and has no need for a sensor bar; but we’ll reserve judgment until we see more of what it can do.
