Last week we were almost ready to stop calling it a rumour, now it’s official. Microsoft has confirmed the 20GB Xbox 360 will sell at a bargain $299 in the US.
That’s a hefty slash of $50 off the original $349 pricing, making it a bargain entry point for those yet to get their hands on the console.
Microsoft’s also announced a new 60GB model will take the place of the $349 price point, a whopping three times the storage for the price a 20GB Xbox 360 used to cost.
So that’s the Aussie’s, kiwis and the yanks getting price cuts, what about us tea drinkers, eh?
