Space Invaders LED Doormat defends your base!

This motion-sensitive boot-scrubber sends a line of glowing LED Space Invaders scrolling across the mat whenever a foot approaches. Their menacing dum-dum-dum advance should put the willies up anyone that’s invading your space.

A line of flashing green 8-bit avatars is a much more appropriate way to greet geeky friends than having the words ‘home sweet home’ or ‘welcome’ etched into your doormat we think and it could bring back fond memories of wasted weekends down the arcade for you.

The battery pack containing four AAA batteries goes just inside the door, while the mat looks out for invaders with its motion sensor. It makes a fine job of cleaning their boots too. If only it had been programmed to say ‘all your shoes are belong to us’ our lives would be complete.
