Those crafty hackers at the iPhone Dev Team have cracked into the iPhone’s software again. Last time it took them weeks, but this time round it took just hours for them to open up the 3G iPhone’s software, and allow it to be used on any network.
Behind the scenes, hackers have been beavering away for months in preparation, but hacked open the new software within hours of it being made available online yeterday.
The hacking squad are now planing to release a version of its free Pwnage tool, letting mere mortals crack their own software, and use unapproved applications and non-official networks.
