As Apple’s iPhone App Store went live across the world it opened up the iTunes store to a ton of new countries. Next up, music, movies and TV for all Apple’s new territories.
Apple’s global push happened quietly and without announcement, but take a peek at the bottom of the iTunes browser and you’ll see lots more countries listed under the drop-down menu.
What does it mean? At the moment, only iPhone and iPod touch applications are available worldwide, but now the iTunes store has extended its footprint, it shouldn’t be long before music, movies and TV shows follow.
