Looking for a laptop that can take a bit of punishment? The Algiz 10 can take a pounding and keep on computing, thanks to its military grade resistance to shock, vibration and moisture.
Hiding behind its rugged good looks you’ll find a 10.4in tablet powered by a proper 1.2GHz Intel Core Duo chip, 80GB shock mounted hard drive and up to 2GB of memory. It’s surrounded by shock absorbing bumpers and the case is made out of study magnesium.
Its conforms to military standards - MIL-STD-810F fact fans - and it’s also got an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water. It’s not afraid of the cold, capable of operating at -20 degrees centigrade and it’ll keep on going up to 60 degrees in the heat. It runs Windows XP, so unfortunately there’s nothing Handheld US can do to stop it crashing every now and then.
