It may not have quite such a memorable name as the Asus Eee PC or MSI Wind, but ECS is no doubt hoping people can see past that with the G10IL.
ECS is planning on launching a 3G model from the off, although you will be able to pick up a cheaper version without mobile broadband baked in. It’ll be available in both 10in and 8.9in screen sizes and will sport the now standard Intel Atom chip and at least 1GB of memory.
ECS will be looking into selling it through the mobile networks, so you can expect some pretty good price cuts if you pick one up with a contract. Both Linux lovers and Windows users will be catered for and with production starting in August we should see the first units around September time.
