Not wanting to get left behind, Acer is jumping on the mobile broadband bandwagon and there’ll be a 3G Aspire One out in August - available in pink and brown.
The colour choices are a liiiittle on the odd side - pink, maybe, but who wants a brown laptop? That aside, once manufacturers start bundling in 3G cards as standard there’s no need to hack up your own solution for broadband to go.
There’s no word if Acer will be looking to team up with mobile networks, like Asus is thinking of doing with its 3G Eee PC, but once you take the subsidy into account, these little laptops could be available for next to nothing if you sign up for a contract.
Out August| £TBC
