MSI Wind turned inside out

MSI Wind innardsIntrigued to know what’s inside MSI’s little lappy but worried about breaking Wind? Feast your eyes on these internal snaps instead then.

Bit-tech has decided to throw warranty issues aside and dug inside the Wind to see what makes it tick. Apparently it’s much easier to get into than an Eee PC 900 – just loosen a few screws and its bottom falls off.

It’s much neater and tidier on the inside than the Eee PC, which may sound like a good thing at first, but limits it when it comes to internal modding. On the plus side, it should be simple to switch the hard drive for a bigger model and there’s also a DDR2 SO-DIMM slot for memory upgrades – something most tiny laptops are lacking. Many, many more pics over at Bit-tech.
