We’ve been in love with the Fatman iTube for ages. It’s a valve-amplified iPod dock that just oozes class, and now it’s being updated.
The new Red-i builds on Fatman’s original iTube, pumping out 25 watts per channel, with its valve amps giving “sonically matched” signals to each speaker.
Dock your iPod and you’ll be able to control it with the Red-i remote, while two auxiliary inputs at the rear mean it’ll also play nice with non-Apple MP3 players and audio equipment.
Unlike the original iTube, the Red-i will work just fine with the iPhone too.
