Toyota PriusThought Toyota’s hybrid-powered Prius couldn’t get much greener? Think again – the next model will pack a roof full of solar panels too!

The development will make Toyota the first mainstream motor manufacturer to employ solar power in a car, and according to reports it’ll be coming sooner than you might expect.

Word is that the solar system will only power the car’s air conditioning, while more traditional petrol/electric systems handle the more strenuous task of moving about.
