The DT08 Slide toaster takes the guesswork out of breakfast because you can watch your toast cook through its glass casing. When your bread reaches toasty perfection, just slide it out. It’s the best thing since the Apple/Braun Toaster.
Getting your toast exactly right in the morning is a scientific impossibility as there are just too many variables - thickness, consistency, temperature, timing etc – but with the transparent toaster, you can watch the progress yourself while you sip a cup of tea and slide it out when it reaches that ideal brownness.
It’s just a concept by Daniel Thomas currently, but it’s a clever one and we hope it’ll be pressed into production before much more toast gets burned.
