It’s lunchtime, so grab a sandwich and settle down for a recap of everything gadget-shaped you’ve missed this morning.
There’s a storm brewing this morning, and it’s all O2’s fault. The phone firm sent texts to thousands of iPhone owners telling them they could pre-order the 3G version from 8am this morning.
However, when eager iPhone fans logged on to place their order, they found the site malfunctioning and struggling to cope with the influx of customers.
At the time of writing, O2’s still struggling to solve the problems, although help is at hand from The Carphone Warehouse. They’ve started accepting pre-orders, and have a website that’s working perfectly. So stop shaking your fist and get over to their site!
