Okay, JKKMobile is officially a legend. Rather than wait for Asus to furnish him with a 3G enabled Eee PC he’s only gone and retrofitted one himself. Genius.
By stripping out the one of the solid state drives and nicking some power from the webcam he’s crammed in a external 3G USB modem and mainlined it straight into the internal USB ports.
As if that wasn’t enough - he’s even gone as far as installing an external switch, so he can turn off 3G to save power or make it flight safe. He truly is a god.
